Our background
Minister Antonio Washington Sr. is a native of Baltimore City. He is currently pursuing his B.A. in Theology at Lancaster Bible College. He answered the call to the ministry under the leadership of Franklin Peterson at Faith United Baptist Church where he served on the ministerial staff. He was licensed to preach in 1996. He served as an Associate Minister at Rooted Bible Fellowship under the leadership of Pastor Kevin Webster for several years. He recently served as an Associate Minister at Harvest Christian Ministries where the late and honorable Pastor Tim Tooten presided.
Minister Antonio Washington, Sr. is a member of the Minister’s Guild for the Baltimore Police Department. He received his certification to serve as a Community Liaison Minister. He is certified as a L.I.F.E. Model Spiritual Direction Coach. He and his wife lead Marriage Ministry at their home church and are involved in Marriage Ministry, marriage counseling and outreach ministries within the community. He and his wife established New Life Worldwide Faith Ministries which encompasses outreach and ministering God’s word through preaching, teaching and encouragement. He is co-founder of My Brother’s Keeper which involves outreach ministry at men’s shelters.
Pastor Washington, first and foremost, is a servant of the Lord, Jesus Christ. He is a great role model, people person, faithful leader, and an energetic and fun-loving mentor and family man. He preaches the word of God with passion and conviction. He is passionate about leading the people of God, leading praise, and worship, loves teaching, and providing spiritual guidance to those in the congregation and within the community. He has been happily married to his bride, Michelle Washington, for 34 years. He is the father of 9 children, 2 biological children, 5 adopted children, and two children that he and his wife have guardianship over. Regardless of all of the other accomplishments he has received in life, his greatest accomplishment is being a child of the Most High God.
Sister Michelle Washington is first and foremost a born-again believer who absolutely loves Jesus. She has been married for 35 years to Minister Antonio Washington, Sr. She is a member of Harvest Christian Ministries where she leads Women's Ministry and Marriage Ministry with her husband. She is co-founder of Sistas Saving Sistas for Christ, a healing ministry which ministers to women and the homeless population. She is certified as a L.I.F.E. Model Spiritual Direction Coach. She is co-founder of Heart-to-Heart Ministries which includes marital counseling, pre-marital counseling, divorce counseling and teaching bible study to couples with her husband. She also leads monthly book clubs. She is a graduate of Faith Theological seminary. She is a prayer leader for Destination Prayers and Praises. Her foremost passions includes teaching couples and women, encouraging the body of Christ, and serving those around her. Her greatest fulfillment and joy stems from her relationship with Christ.
